Brian Goss
Detective Sergeant

Detective Sergeant Brian Goss has been with the Addison Police Department since 1997. His first assignment was in the Field Services Division as a Patrolman. He was then assigned to the Criminal Investigations Section in February of 2000. In May of 2008, he was promoted to Sergeant, and in February of 2010, he was reassigned back to the Criminal Investigations Section as Detective Sergeant. Detective Sergeant Goss has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice. He has been trained as a Field Training Officer, a Juvenile Officer and an Evidence Technician and was in the Bicycle Patrol Unit. He has attended training in Advanced Financial Crimes Investigation and Computer Crime Investigation.

Detective Sergeant Goss was a member of the DuPage Major Crimes Task Force, DuPage Sex Crimes Task Force (SPEAR), Midwest Gang Investigators Association, Alliance Against Financial Crimes Association and the Midwest Homicide Investigations Association.
