Obtaining a Copy of a Police Report
Property owners and managers can obtain a copy of the police report for an incident that occurred on their property.  Either come into the Addison Police Department to fill out a Freedom of Information form or click here to download the form.  Fill out the form and return it to the Addison Police Department.

There is no charge for requests less than 51 pages. Requests of 51 pages or more are 15 cents for each additional page. Photos and other media are at an additional cost. The Addison Police Department will respond to your request within five (5) business days. Not all reports qualify for release. Arrests not yet adjudicated are not released. Cases actively being investigated are not released. Juvenile information is not released. Personal information of an intimate nature is not released.
