Officer DiFatta began his law enforcement career with the Addison Police Department in September of 2000.

While with the Addison Police Department, Officer DiFatta has become an Evidence Technician, Fire Investigator, Breathalyzer Operator, Re-constructionist, Second Division Vehicle Enforcement Officer, Second Division Vehicle Inspector, and is certified in Forensic Mapping.

In May of 2007, Officer DiFatta was reassigned to the Traffic Safety Unit of the Field Services Division.
